Id go to a autoparts store like advanced! I have a 06 and I ordered one from them. They didnt have it instock but got it from the warehouse for the next day. Id order one after you buy it take it out into the parking lot and make sure it fits. :yesnod:

I would say sensor as well. Im not 100% sure how it works but Id be affraid of something being "off" and with the turbo causing it to hold boost like a waste gate malfunction and blow out that way. I dont think Id run it. If you do just short distances.

I hear you on the good news side! There are a few local garages that are pretty good. But, my dad is a 35 year mechanic who owns a shop. No one he or I know "specializes" in diesels. Im just cheap I guess and dont want to take it to someone who will rip me off :skep:

Hmmm I actually dont think that to bad of a deal. The truck looks clean and in good shape. If you could get them down to $7,500 out the door id think your getting a good deal. But like others have said make sure you get a carfax report first.

Huh thats strange. I bought a chevy malibu with cruise problems. First I thought it was the brake switch because if you just touched the pedal the cruise would shut off. I replaced that and it still would shut off! It ended up needing a module. Is the one on ebay used? If so I wouldnt bother...
