Meh. Consider instead of dropping the cash on a CD changer an AUX in box so you can plug an ipod, CD player, etc directly in to your radio... you can fit ALL your CD's on an ipod and then not have to switch discs out here and there.
I've used this stuff too with great results. Also consider some baking soda; they have it packaged specifically for use as a deodorizer... seems to work better on "organic" smells like fast food, sweat, etc.
DDM should have it's own fuse IIRC. Check both fuse panels before looking at a new one. Might be able to see a bad BCM with a codereader, otherwise your dealer can tell you for sure.
