Nope, no Cognito's failed. They actually look like they held up well. But the Pitman arm they were supposed to brace failed miserably. I'm currently running 315's on H2s; have been for about 60,000 or so, if I remember right.

The Cognito braces were fine... it was the Pitman arm ball joint end itself that broke off. It appears as though the bolt just snapped (the sound it made sure sounded like that). Very odd...

Correction... Less than 60,000 on the parts. Just looked it up. Replaced in Jan '08.

Not exactly sure, have to check my records... Less than 90,000 for sure. It's a Moog arm (I believe) that I got with the Cognito brace kit.

2 stroke makes a huge difference for me.... on my most recent trip, my buddy filled up while I was asleep and didn't put in the usual gallon of 2 stroke; the difference in clatter woke me up. Another vote for fuel filter... I've had filters start to go south as few as 4,000mi.
