You can find a lot of information here.. http://www.gmupfitter.com/body_builder_manuals.html
As for your specific problem, I would check grounds first (as always) then next look at your batteries; How old, have they ever been replaced, are you sure it's not a battery or battery connection...
Because I beat on my truck so hard, I went with a cheaper set off eBay... I spent about $55 a pair. They only last me about a year and a half (I'm on my 3rd set); probably because of all the shock and vibration I give them.
If you don't mind replacing them once every couple years (especially...
I've been poking around with not much luck; Do you know if by any chance that tractor is considered an Ag tractor by Deere?
Our contract is C&CE, which generally covers up to the 6000's, but all I seem to find is 5210, 5310, etc. IIRC, the 5210 is going to be a newer generation than your 5200.
Yeah the taxes around here are really killer. It's insane what some of these towns spend on.
If anyone's going to be in the area tomorrow evening, it starts at 6:00, feel free to give me a call if you're there! I'll be there from about 2:00PM on.
It's at the Durham fair; intersection of rte 17 and rte 68, not far from north branford, wallingford, middletown, etc.

Going to give it a shot at a local fair here, and see what happens. Just bought a hitch and helmet tonight.
As of now, I'm running a factory Alli with 200k on it, factory motor with EFI Live, exhaust, and guages...
Also got the Cognito HD tie rods, UCAs, and pitman/idler braces. Going to...
In the process of it now; Actually, Nick is taking care of it all. I'll be very curious to see what they have to say. They're definitely crediting for the part... sure would be nice if they'd pay me for the time lost at work to fix it all ):h.
These are awesome batteries. We're a dealer at work; their better series of batteries consistently outperforms the best Deere batteries, often at half the cost.
Justin..
I know its a few months ago now, but I was just poking around some older threads. Do you have the service manual for this tractor? I can get you a digital copy if you'd like.
Good to know. I am pretty curious myself, mostly because I need to prevent this from happening again... next time it might be on the highway or with a trailer or with passengers or worse.
Definitely wasn't over torque; had a torque wrench and did everything by the book.
I went back and found the broken off end. See the attachments for pics; too large to embed. If anyone wants the high resolution versions, PM me your email.
