Thos are F250 7700's my dad owned one in 00. They where funky. The axle was set way to the rear of the truck. The wheels where I think 7 lugs. Ford called them a light duty 3/4 ton.

After our luck with the Ford 6.0 Powerjoke I can assure myself and my family will never go back to the blue oval. We had some awsome 7.3's and even 2 great IDI's 6.9 and 7.3 but no matter how good they were we can never go back to the Oval.

My 454 did run with the dist 180 deg off. Just not very long tell it started bending pushrods

Hmmm. usually when i am kickin fuel back through the carb my ignition is 180 off and the truck can't even idle. A lean backfire i guess could be possible. I would try that filter then rebuild the carb

I have my 35' LoadMAx and my home built 30 foot tri axle bumper pull. There is a very big differnece in handling, and carring capacity. Both will get the job done. but the gooseneck I don't have to worry about waggin my trailers tail all over the highway with the big weight.
