    6 speed?

I just got back on, I would really like to have them. They may not be wide, but depending on what I do for the next set of rear tires, a little extra spacing might be perfect. How do we do this?

    Six speed?

Your thoughts may be different, but this is how I think. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just rebuild your 4500, than to buy a new one? This IS my first diesel, and my first "big" truck, but the way I think, for the cost of a new 4500, I could probably do a complete rebuild of my old one, maybe...

    Six speed?

Ya got me all excited for nothing. Went there with the intent of decoding my vin, and got a page that reads: These types of announcements don't come easy, but effective immediately Comp Nine will be closing its doors permanently. Thank you to everyone that helped keep the site going and for...

    6 speed?

215/75-16 in the rear, as I recall. A friend told me I could go with a taller rear tire, but I would need spacers (wheel adptrs) to spread the separation between the wheels on both sides. While it would be nice to run a bit more meat on the back, it would not be nice enough to justify the cost...

    Hi Y'all

yep, I like Cades Cove, very pretty area... as long as you aren't in bumper-bumper traffic! The BPS, yep, I've been there a couple of times, and we ate at the restaurant once (unless I have my stores confused). It is exit 407, and I am 6.6 miles off exit 350.

    6 speed?

Well, I have owned the truck for 4 years now. Only one time has it had a heavy enough load to require use of 1st gear (granny low). Normal bed load, including the topper, would be less than maybe 800 lbs. If I am pulling the trailer with the bike on it... figure maybe 1100-1200 lbs. I could...

    Cat back vs Duals?

I've had a few 4.3 trucks. My '88 Jimmy I was running a Mellotone XPS muffler, single > dual, and it sounded good. The I added a pair of the Z-28 exhaust tips, the rectangular ones, and it sounded GREAT. The area, and shape of your tip can affect your sound. I had Roadhouse Doolies on the bike...

    6 speed?

Is there a 6 speed trans that will fit, and work behind my 6.5TD? I frequently find myself looking for another gear. Would a 6 speed give me a higher top gear? I have the 5 speed now. What would be my options for getting more gear, other than buying the tallest tires I can find/fit? One guy told...

    6.5 member locator

Rockwood, TN, which is about 40 min west of Knoxville. I know a couple of you mentioned horses... if you ever come to an event at the Roane State Expo Center, part of the Community College (the place is booked long in advance, most weekends of the year), then yo uare literally just over the...

    Hi Y'all

Hey Leroy, here is a link to a shot of the truck. My sig has not been showing, at least in the preview mode, and as near as I can tell, I seem to be blocked from putting a pic into my messages. The sig pic is pretty much useless, as it appeaars to be only slightly larger than my avatar. Year...

    Hi Y'all

I'm Norm. My C3500 is my first diesel, and I like it. It has been being difficult lately, but with the help from some more experienced owners, I am getting it straightened out.
