    Rebuilding Fisher MM1 Lift Cylinder

Oh Crap Matt, If it wasn't for bad luck you have none. The seal is junk any way, PB blaster is a good start, the use a small torch, heat the area around the nut, might also use a drift pin and hammer and lightly tap on the nut to jar it lose. What size is the rod?

    Ballast

I run a 1.8 yd salter, all we do is salt. Might do the odd load of sand/salt if we get an icestorm, but no one wants the sand tracked in around here. Stuff is spendy this year too. All my trucks have a sprayin liner, they last much longer that way :)

    Anti-Freezing Additive

It is hyd oil ,not brake fluid. I don't have a spec sheet handy. Ashton it is lower temp rated than #10 hyd oil and is normally clear, we order our dyed blue plus the anti ice agent.

    Source for cheap plow parts...

Shop and compare. Most online stuff is at about the same $$ as local shops, but they normally don'tor can't answer why something don't work or how can I fix this. They just sell parts. The problem is if your local guy is not there and all your online guy knows is parts who do you ask when you...
