I'm sorry, but I don't buy into all of that synthetic crap. One of the guys that works for me sends in the oil for evaluation in our bigger equipment and we switched to syn in a PC 300 excavator, there were no significant changes in anything other than price. Synthetic oil is more resistant to...
higher than normal idle speed, instant MPG drops pretty significantly, slight loss of power, really not too noticeable, incinerating bikers, trees, shrubs, pedestrians, etc. ):h
that is a soft code, which doesn't get stored, the H1 signifies it is a freeze frame save, it does that so you can read codes thrown that get reset or dumped. Its a diagnosis tool.
17.7 is purty slow for a 5.3, try mid 15's. That was a 4.8. Stock ext cab long box 1/2 ton 5.3 ran a 15.7 in acton not too long ago. They are pretty rank.
good point, believe me, there WILL be a detection method, just like when the whole red-dye thing started, it WILL happen if bio diesel gains enough popularity. The govn't always finds some way to collect tax dollars. Seriously, do you think the govn't will let you and anyone else drive around...

Air pressure is only part of the equation, volume is other. Its really hard to draw a mathematical equation saying X(boost)= Y(horsepower), it depends on amount of fuel, efficiency of combustion and fuel atomization, timing, volute air passageways, actually an entire myriad of different...
These results are listed in the order of performance in the HFRR test. The baseline fuel used in every test started at an HFRR score of 636. The score shown is the tested HFRR score of the baseline fuel/additive blend.
