They use that opacity test here in finland too, both trucks what i know here with ATT (i think here is one ATT what i dont know) have passed that test fine

gm service manual says when changing pcm folloving procedures should be done on the following order:
1. Programming the PCM (done here)
2. Passlock Learn Procedure (i think this has failed for some reason?)
3. Programming the TDC Offset

No changeble chip on that pcm, it is OBD2 vehicle.
Prolly vehicle deterrent system denyes starting. Check instructions from patricks link to learn vehicle for PCM.
I have also been thinking about headlight upgrade.. My plan this far is chrome bumber from lmc (page 60 on lmc catalog, #39-9817) or ebay with 4 drivinglights, remove one pair of them and install Hella made projector Xenon lights to those bumber holes..

Yep, but it is hard to say how much clarance is exactly if it isn't exactly same wide as lines on paper.
Feels like using set of new bearings to this would be only waste of money, they won't be tighter? any other opinions?
Just came back from garage measuring main bearing clearances..
1-4 was just slightly over 0,038mm and '
5 was approx 0,051mm
I used plastigage to measure those so i dont have better accuracy, but they are on tight side of limits :smile5:
