I had the same problem. Stalling 25 to 30 seconds after a cold start. It did it everyday for 2 weeks. I took the piston out of the fuel shutoff solenoid and it hasn't stalled since. That was a week ago. I just took out the piston because I was too lazy to do a proper voltage test on the solenoid...
Well thanks to all of the advice in this thread, I also go my truck running again. Turns out it was the fuel shut off solenoid that was bad/stuck. I took the plunger out, and it started and ran fine. I had figured it was either that or the PMD.
Now all that is left to do is change the glow plugs.
I have somewhat the same problem. It started like this and just got worse from there. Now it starts maybe half the time I try. And if it doesn't want to go, it won't go unless I wait at least 10 to 15 minutes. Then It's another flip of the coin. In the last week, it started cutting out randomly...
