lol. agree with this. I rolled around for 40k miles with it on the 135 or 160 tune and toasted the trans. Finally thought "FK it" and put in the 215 and drove it another 10k, slippin like a mf'er. Towed 15k+ trailers, raced, and generally just beat the living s**t out of it. They wont last...
Got my idea fropm subthump. Unfortunately they dont carry boxes for a single 10", so im making my own, kinda based onthe idea they had. Gonna be able to fit a 2000 watt sub under the drivers side rear seat. Area in red is gonna be a popout to allow room for 300 oz magnet to sit.
edit: two...
having owned both, stock exhaust straight piped and 4" pipe, i prefer the 4". Stock straight pipe sounds good, kinda raspy (not a bad thing), but the 4" is definately deeper. Sounds better in my opinion.
yup. 3 times. I asked several times, whats causing the egr vlv to fail. Their response ... "bad design". I dont kknow about that, Im still convinced something else is making them fail, but what do I know. I think the best bet is to block it altogether and shut the cel's off. Its pretty...
Mines done this 4 times now. Dealer fixed it first 3 times under 5/100k warranty. Falls within emissions I think they said so they replaced it. Last time it went, I was at ~110k, so no warranty. Same codes you're getting plus some. Something has to be causing the egr to go bad, but what I...
It's nice to catch them before they go. I had one that made no noise.... right up until it seized at 70mph on the freeway. That would be a ~7ft long serpentine belt smashing itself to pieces against my hood, fan, rad shroud, fenders and so on.....
P0562 and P0380 were two of them... I think there were 5 total. As for unplugging it, not to sure about that.
My GP indicator stayed lit for only a little longer when it went bad. 2 of the GP's were staying on but not leaving the lamp lit. I dont know if its possible to test this without...
When the GPCM went bad in mine, it was leaving the GP's on... this pulling too much draw and not leaving enough voltage for the programmer to work. It would start to transfer the tune but then switch to "read error"..... I'm using a quadzilla but it had the same sensitvity to voltage drops as...
I dont have any experience with edge, but from what I've seen, none of the box programmers will keep the CEL from resetting. You need a custom tuner, ie efi live or something similar.
True. I know some people who have pulled cat and still dont set any codes. As far as I know, even if the...
