I had the same problem. but it is because i accidentelly turn the governor bolt during the adjustment.had to pull the cover back off to correct it

I had the same problem with mine it turned out to be that the start was dragging a bit and would turn over quite fast enough.Only had a problem with cold starts.rest of the day would do fine

well some time this winter i'am gonna go for it. chinese or not you cant argue with the price.

why is that?

IF I had one i would definitley try and let everyone know how it worked. Iam just looking for something deffrent and new, everybody like to experament.

it did not seem to me that the hx-40 was any larger then the ATT. so i did not think there would be that kind of lag.and as far as the boost it is a wastegated turbo.

Has any one ever tried or ran an hx-40 turbo?

it doese take away from the whistle. no noticeable gains filter stays cleaner longer than just leaving the filter hanging off the turbo.

its not much louder than the strait pipe i had ran out the back.not a big difference, just a little more drone. as far as taking up space my truck is more of a toy. I dont use it for every day work or i might have needed the extra room. the stack is from a kenworth semi. the guy had it laying...

if you view the picture in my album it looks a lot better.

thanks ,the stack is chrome and it was free. otherwise i had looked into the black stacks. maybe in the future some black stainless. i also like the single look. its hard to get the size of the picture right. my camera takes huge pictures.

Just got finished with my new project, 3 and a half inch down pipe to a 4 '' strait pipe to a 5'' stack.

I have had the same sound upon start up every now and then for about 2 years'replaced injecters 4 months ago did not fix that sound for me.its pretty loud. doesent last longer than 5 seconds
