Then you must have a surplus of these cars down there. ):h
Must say, I rarely see identical cars. Usually by the time these old muscle machines start coming to shows, the owners have put enough love, attention, and detail into them, to make them unarguable unique.
around here the first gen camaro's are far and away worth more than the firebirds. i would love to get my hands on the following car
1969 RS/SS 396/4 Speed convertible with a Red Houndstooth interior and an Artic White with Hugger Orange stripes exterior.
Such a car in good shape around here...
Yes, it was still droning when it exited like that. basically it came straight back from the downpipe and stopped just short of the axle. there was no tip that directed anywhere but straight back. it wasn't as bad as when i had it coming out in front of the rear tire, but still noticeable on...
Go with the diesel man. Once you drive one for a bit, you won't want to even consider a ___ser again. Welcome to the site. Lot's of activity here and all your questions, can be answered along with some answers you don't want to know. :D
Shoot for it man. Making that power out of a 6.5 is easier than ever.
Cumminalong: When I worked in a truck shop, we occasionally saw truck come in with bent yokes. Typically caused by excessive force on the yoke, which could be brought about by letting the truck roll backwards on a hill a...
well, i know a few PS owners that consider themselves lucky because they got a factory 7.3 in their trucks. even so though, it's probably a 6.0 which should be pushing close to 325 horse at the crank. i just don't understand why they would have such high loss
yea, stock is 2.75" and pathetic.
I ran various exhausts on the truck before settling with the stacks.
biggest you can go without modding some is a 3" downpipe. After that, whatever you want. I first had a 3.5" fairly stock exhaust that came with the truck. That lasted, not very long.):h...
Hey TD, really like those numbers out there.
I'm curious as to the newer diesels numbers. Being an 03, was that a 6.0 or a 7.3? It just seems that whenever I see the newer ones dynoed, they really seem to have high drivetrain loss with their power. Any reason for that?
Curious as to what you...
In the 93/94, in the place of the radio system, I have (had) a plastic insert that was about 4 inches deep, to take the place of the radio. When I wanted to install my pyro and boost, I didn't want them sticking out anywhere where anything could hook them, and I wanted to keep the pillar free...
RC/LB 4X4 2500HD. Weighed a lot of times at our local dump scale, seems to come out around 6,300 lbs.
On the other hand, my buddy has a truck identical to Heath's, except it's red and doesn't push 150 MPH. ):h
1995 EC/SB 1500 2wd with 5 bolt axles. Thing weighs not much over 5,000, and it...
I share this view of Walt. Used to have a really good opinion of him, and he helped get me Dad's 95 going, for a little while. After which, he had him (my Dad), replacing everything around the IP and the IP itself. I recently asked him for the specs on his HO injectors that I bought off him, and...
actually, just thought of this too, the 93 parts truck that I just finished cutting up :firedevil: had cruise on it as well, in conjunction with the 4L80.
Ah well, us DB-2 guys won't hold your electro-whacko personalities against any of you :nono:, lol.
I guess as was said, misery loves...
