Personally I wouldn't bother if it has a crack already. To me that indicates the rest is not far behind

At 25 I'd be experimenting with 2nd. Higher rpm will help cool the motor more. More coolant flow and more fan speed

The only thing to watch out for is the tiny vent hole on it. Other than that I couldn't find a chemical in my shop that would hurt the diaphram inside.

If you have nothing left to lose I'd try welding it with muggy rod. muggyweld.com

Around here they're pushing the zip system. It's designed for use in a remote system but they're pushing it for use in regular construction. Recipe for disaster if you ask me.

The only real issue they had here was trying to put it on the outside of an existing house. Ends up trapping moisture in the wall.

Picked up this metal cabinet. It was in poor condition, hammered out the bigger dents. Then cleaned and painted it. Had to make a new hinge pin as one was missing. Still have one more shelf to clean and paint.
