If your are ok with buying online here are a couple of links.
keep in mind with amazon, they do not honor the full warranty period but supposedly you can get that direct from AC Delco by this seller only, I have not confirmed this. Now Summit Racing on the other hand will honor warranties...
Welp, problem solved. got home from work and grabbed the spare battery and tools. headed out with my wife to where here trailblazer was. popped the hood and first thing I noticed was a faint odor of rotten eggs! the battery... pulled it out and installed the spare and it fired right up...
Have your son sign up here on the forum and join in on the fun! if he needs help we can all chime to assist too.
Hope the photos help.
even better if he's got a mirror on a stick and a good camera with good lighting, he can try looking on the under side of the injectors for a part number...
Here are more pics. these are the short body injectors, take note of my index finger barley under the body nut against the head on the #1. also note the height of the head bolt to the injector body nut. a long body injector would sit about 1/4" higher than these. the top section of the...
Attention fellas and fellets! Injector class is now in session..... 🤣
Here is the visual differences between the non-turbo 6.2L aka: tall body injectors and the turbo 6.5L aka: short body injectors.
I took some pics of the two side by side along with a couple of pics of the short body...
if you plan to go factory OEM style part, use the ac delco EP-158. it's the better of the ones available. I have this installed on mine, but there are modifications needed to connect the lines.

There are many other aftermarket and much better options...
Hoping that all, something simple! My son couldn't find the portable jump starter at the house, so I'm having him put a spare side post battery I had in the garage on the charger making sure it's hot. that way when I get off work I can grab it and some tools, do a battery swap and hopefully...
Maybe there is hope... I have an onboard GPS connected to her trailblazer which also will report operating conditions and trouble codes to me through the app. when she called me the GPS hadn't reported anything, but now I look at it and it's reporting the battery voltage critically low...
Well, I'm keeping my hopes up hoping it's a blown fuse or battery voltage is low. I can handle that, but if it's an ECM problem, Oh boy!
The fun part is I don't think there are any tow point on the front end so I will have to figure out what I can hook to to pull it home if I can get it to...
Welp!! when it rains it pours!! wifey called me while at work to say she's stranded in town with here trailblazer.... wonderful I said.
Had my son go out there to see if he could help, but it's doing some weird stuff that leads me to think electric gremlins have attacked.
Key on, all...
I would think you have air getting into the fuel system. replace your return line on the IP which is a 1/4" hose about 6" in length located right in the front of the IP up top. replace it with some clear tubing you can get at most any hardware store. id does not need to be fuel rated, run...
could have been, but 30 years ago they still made "real" steel LOL it's the same thing in the stores now, same size package, same label, higher price, but less food inside!
It's not easy to remove the rods. you have to remove the entire latch assy from the door. trust me I tried to get at them without pulling the latch LOL
removing an injector you need a special socket, a regular 30mm socket can possibly bend or break the return line connections. I have used a regular socket multiple times without an issue but you have to be very careful. they are torqued into the head at 50ft lbs. I will try and remember to...
This might also be whats going on with mine in the 93. video is disabled on it due to the parking brake wire, but grounding it didn't do anything.
not that I want to be watching any video's while driving LOL
when I replaced the inside door handles on my 95 even after the new handles were installed I noticed that the handle was maxing out on the stop before the door would unlatch. I ended up taking the rods out from the door and tweaking slightly on two of the bends using my bench vice and hammer...
