ferm, what you getting for mileage with that. i average around 18 with either mileage or big tune. i guess it is because i dont add much fuel on either tune below 50mm3 so around town doesnt change much.
grady the shock issue i have noticed also with the bilsteins on. the stock shocks never showed like that and since then i have had some odd clunk issues when the suspension is put in any akward positions. i.e. when turning into a driveway where the road is lower than the drive entrance. almost...
i havent time until after july. its a hecktic time of year for us. i may head to berlin though sunday. not to pull but to watch with my little one. how many trucks you guys expecting?
i know of a ton using the rdl manifolds and pipes and all seem happy. i guess unless your going for max flow and using a bigger turbo i believe the gains will be negligible.
if it set a code. however i have found it is more likely than not to not have anything stored. sometimes the "logic" thats programmed into the computers just goes bonkers and acts weird. i would not worry.
couple days . no it really depends on your skill, and or tools, plus how rusty the truck is. some of the up pipe bolts come right out, some are rusted bad and you cant get enough leverage to break em loose. all in all it should not take a couple hrs to get it out.
if it happens again i would worry. sometimes weird stuff happens on these stupid trucks. how are the batteries? if there old or a little low it could be a reason.
al i did not want to come off like a dick, well yes i did, but you have to understand one thing. the diesel engine thanks really in part to the duramax has made a huge comeback. the mileage gains, the minimal amount of issues with them ect all have helped alot. it really burns my arse when folks...
That's cool.
Sorry I won't partake in helping make following traffic disappear. Not my bag of tea. Kinda like helpin a drunk by givin him his keys. I did not realize this forum was into worthless info takin up space in tech forums.
it is not possible. maybe some rust floating in the fuel. or something that got into one of the tanks at a fuel station. the two systems never come into contact.
now for the coolant leak, how much you losing?
it could in theory be a ton of things. think about what moves where when accelerating or braking. suspension moves, drivetrian, braking systems, steering, cripe the frame even moves. if it moves when in motion it is moving when when applying the brakes then it abruptly stops and stays in place...
