    My 92 std cab long box has a 34 gallon tank. My 95 burb has a 42 gallon tank I think. When I ran the the burb down close to empty it sure put a dent in the pocket book when fuel was close to 5 bucks a gallon.

    Great find Clipper, I often wonderd where that filter was actually located. I will have to check the condition of mine next time I change the filter. Can one just grab it with a needle nose pliers and pull it up and out?

    I don't know if this would tell you anything but I would loosen up the fuel cap and try it again. It probably won't fix the problem but it would be something I would try first. The problem probably is closer to the pump itself. If it is a problem at all. Others should chime in on that one.
