update: I picked it up yesterday afternoon. While it was down I upgraded the EVO to the hot tunes. Loaded hot 2 and let it learn and woohoo. When pulling my camper in TH sometimes the 2-1 shift was noticeable to say the least, but not every time and not dependent on flat land or a grade. I just took it as the braking in TH.
