    07 LBZ - P0621 & P0403 Codes Set

I'll do that! Thank you for the tip, it sure would be nice to get it fixed. Doesn't look like it'll happen at that dealership though... Got the call a little earlier today... I'm pretty mad. First thing out of his mouth... "We had to run the carbon cleaning program. What this is it heats up...

    07 LBZ - P0621 & P0403 Codes Set

Yeah you can, but then, it's "Tuned" - Not TUNED but altered from what the factory put in and that's what scares me... I'm such a wuss!! :P

    07 LBZ - P0621 & P0403 Codes Set

Funny you say that :) From what I read it won't be the last time i run into that problem. I guess I could just shut off the EGR Via efilive also but, i'm such a chicken :P I don't mind turning wrench, it's when it comes to turning on the keyboard it gets me - This thing's to expensive to goof...

    07 LBZ - P0621 & P0403 Codes Set

Oh, the other two things I had them look into: Power steering hose was leaking - Turns out it's the high side PS hose right at the 'clamp' that's leaking. When making turns slow speeds with the steering wheel at the stops, and it hits a 'bump' or something, it makes a loose rattle type...

    07 LBZ - P0621 & P0403 Codes Set

Well it finally happened to me... It's been my turn for quite a while and I've gotten lucky. Driving down to the ranch to clean up my trailer I look down and my damn check engine light is on :wtf: Wouldnt be so bad, but, my wife is going on a HUGE trail ride (it's call the memorial hospital...

    Reason to do it yourself

That's horrible about your bike man, I'm sorry to see that. I've been through your garage and drooled. When it first came out I didn't know how I'd feel about it; the pictures of it then were less than flattering... after seeing some 'real world' pictures I REALLY like it!! I think some subtle...

Help with making cb less staticy?

Ok, as for losing the static, adjust your squelch JUST enough for the static to go away, no more. There's something called a CB Linear; yeah, they're illegal in some places but they're in every truck you see :) You could take it to a CB shop to get it 'tuned', sometimes the antenna's and the...

    Need new tires - Michellins/Firestones/Cooper?

Good catch! Yes they matched the inflation of the old tires to the new (72psi).

    Need new tires - Michellins/Firestones/Cooper?

Well I just got them installed - I should have went bigger :) The sidewalls on these don't 'give' like the generals do. The generals (of the same size) looked closer together in the rear than these do. I'm being overly picky - it's really a minuscule change! The ride is WONDERFUL...

    Need new tires - Michellins/Firestones/Cooper?

Well guys, thank you so much for your input!!! As much as I want the Michellin's I REALLY think the Firestone Transforce H/T's will be what I need for the money and what will work for me. I may get the mich's of T/a's if money gets better any time soon. I drop the p-up tomorrow for it's...

    Need new tires - Michellins/Firestones/Cooper?

I'm NOT opposed to an A/T tire. With that said, I LOVE the fact that I can hold a conversation in the cab of a diesel crew cab where I don't have to shout. I'd love to keep that.

    Need new tires - Michellins/Firestones/Cooper?

Man, I love my truck but these general's lasted me only 43,000 miles!!!:icon_bs: I NEED new tires, BAD! I'm NOT looking forward to the grand it's going to cost me so I want to get the most for my money. I have a local tire shop that I trust, but, I don't think they tow horse trailers (or...

    Towing Driving Habits?

If i know the road or have any doubts, while i'm on level ground heading toward a grade I'll kick it back down to 4th or so (California if you two you're at 55mph) and adjust from there. I know about that harsh downshift you speak, it's not fun and can't be good for anything (well maybe not...

Where not to install a fumoto valve

:iagree: That's the only reason I can't do it also. I don't want one more thing to worry about in the middle of no where with a trailer. Although, if it did dump it I could always ride the horses back.........LOL

What is it your trying to do? Have you validated PID's before starting? I think it's control f2 or shift f2.
