Im not dissing on your truck... you did build a capable truck that works well in all the terrains we have taken it through. But that crack was too easy for it, you could take any line through it with ease... It's always fun though
I do not know who owns the truck, I found that picture online searching for H3 Rims. There is a thread on FullSizeChevy about H3 rims and a 305/70/16 tire (http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forums/general-discussion/offroad/404169-305-70-16-h3-rims-03-silverado.html). If you are not planning on...
Here is a new way to look at "Big Wheels". I found this online and I wasn't sure what to think. This was a project called "Hummer" for the Zoo Art Fair in London. The artist said his idea was to create a sculpture that combine art, engineering, and motoring. He definitely created something...
The H3 rim is a 16x7.5. 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern with a 38mm offset.
The Silverado rims are also 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern with most having a 31mm offset.
If you were to use these wheels, the inside of the rim would be 13mm or 1/2 inch closer to the inside of the vehicle... So they should work. I have...
That is a great looking suburban! Rigs that are that clean are getting hard to fine, thats a keeper and well worthy of a heart transplant. And the PYO's look awesome on that body style.
Keep us updated on the progress.
I would loan my truck out to most of my friends depending on the reason why they needed it. Like Dave said, he has his own set of keys for my truck because if he needed it he can just take it (as long as I don't need it) and we rode to class together all last year. And Devin took my truck to...
Look at the driver information center, they miss-spelled gain settings, they wrote "grain settings". That and the fact that we were all up late finishing homework... we got a little bored last night and found that pic of the new Ford and started talking about it
You have to watch out for those grain settings... They will screw up your whole day!
This info center looks confusing and difficult to use. The gauges (Boost) is hard to read, I guess they just like to say that they have one that is factory.
Mine are in all the time. You never know what you might track into you truck, with the Weathertech mats you don't have to worry it. I went out and bought a molded centerhump liner because it was unprotected and reining the carpet.
