I recomend the RainX Lattitude blades. They work awesome! Been running them on my truck for a while now. They are a direct replacement for the NBS trucks.
I got a chance to look at one today. I see now what you are talking about. That is the outlet from the intercooler. There is a larger version of the metal clips that hold the trans lines in that holds that pipe on the intercooler. Just use a small flatblade screw driver or something like that to...
Haven't tried it, but i don't believe that in stock form a 35" tire will fit. You definately probably wouldn't be able to turn with a tire that big withouta suspension lift.
Those are the most important two. You could also go with fuel pressure guages (rail, supply), another trans temp guage that reads a bit more precise. But really all those guages aren't needed, unless you just want to go crazy with them.
I think that it might be a good option as a replacement for the 6.0L for the base model trucks. It would give the consumer the option of having a diesel engine without the expense of the fullsize Duramax/Allison option. There are a lot of people who would like to have a diesel but can't justify...
 Don't feel bad. lol I work on these for a living and I'm not even sure as to what you're talking about:rolleyes:. Looks like I'm gonna have to do some looking to figure out what you're talking about.:pop2::noidea:
You're talking about the two tubes with the tapered rubber pieces that come off the bottom of the air box right? The easiest way to get them out of the way would be to just remove the airbox alltogether. Besides, if i remember correctly they don't come off of the air box.
The projected life expectancy of the fuel filter on the Duramax is 15,000 miles. Mine usually gets changed at that interval, however i have had to change it as soon as 7k. But according to GM change it every 15k.
Yeah, it is kinda tight on the front. I've got pretty small hands and i do them all on a lift so its a bit easier for me.
As far as removing all the airbox and stuff, just undo the clamps on the hose and give the filter housing a tug. Its just got some barbed plastic pieces that hold it down...
Yep, you're gonna be real busy. Sounds like fun though.:pop2:
I've got a list as long as my right arm of things that i've got to do to my Tracker to get it back on the trails this summer. So little time, so little money:noidea:
