Yikes that is bad, your right about getting what you pay for, my LMC ones were actually pretty nice, I could tell they weren't OE, but the fit very well and adjusted out fine! But they were 90 bucks a side.

    Hummer rims

I was bouncing back and forth between the 305s and 315s, but if you can clear the 305s with under 2" I should be able fit the 315's with my 3"

    Transmission leaking by wire harness?!?

I don't have any leak problems with mine, but that is always what I do after a rebuild or a f/f change, run it through all the gears, and let it sit in neutral, recheck/topoff, and then do it all again before the truck ever moves.

    replacement head lights

The headlights are the same, but the parking lights and the corner lights are different, so you could just sell them off and come out with a pretty good deal on headlights!

whats the difference between diesel and gas alternators?

Alot of guys had problems with aftermarket companies giving them alternators with gasser pulleys on them. A gas alternator will work, just throw off your tach reading, so you can just swap pulleys.

I had this problem on my tranny, when they rebuilt it, they had to order a whole new wiring harness, not sure if that is the case or if I just got soaked.......

Why is black the best color?

Man, those sure look good Nick! I constantly cuss my truck and how easily it gets dirty and shows scratches, but every time I clean it up, I can't see my self owning any other color!

    How To Remove Grill.

Here is a pic I doctored up quick, sorry I don't have anything better, but I don't own anything with this style grill! There are 4 T-20 screws that hold each of the parking lights, then the 7 7mm screws (red arrows), then you can access the clips the hold the grill to the filler panel (green...

    build-a-truck Suburbalanche

I would through truck box sides, leave the carpet and and rear seats, and get a liftoff fiberglass top, so that it is basically a longer, 4 door, K-5. What ever you do, I hope you have a good welder!
