14.5 should be pretty easy with the 4R100, very possibly faster....but, its not a race truck, its my tow rig for my rock truggy.... nothing I have done to it was geared towards making it fast. The performance gains, or speed... whatever you want to call it are just the side affects of the...
Ran a 15.774 with the old pump/inj/turbo.... have only had this new pump on since last Friday night, but it is definitely much faster now. Very noticeable just in watching my videos.
My truck will easily walk a stock duramax... like I said, it holds within a car length of my friends 428/820...
WOT I do 36psi with this charger on fuel. As for mods to my engine.... I just had a good rebuild, .030" over silvolites, shaved my pistons and coated them, studded my main caps, studded heads, studded intake manifold. build my own manifolds, charge pipes, turbo kit....aftermarket cam (our...
This charger can support a lot more power than my engine has fuel for.
I know you're asking for an LMM comparison but the only modern truck comparisons I have since putting the new pump on is these:
bone stock LBZ my co-worker owns. My truck will easily walk it, at any speed, until I hit...
seriously, if you guys have any interest in learning from us, and us learning from you... and just general mutual BS back and forth about these pumps and engines.
Then forget the past, cut the BS, and move forward. I am willing to do it, I can't speak for racin but I don't see why he wouldn't...
I don't think my truck is bad, I really don't. Its impressive for an IH IDI, and I'm pushing this point because of my pump debate with CF. This has nothing to do with me competing with him... it has to do with our pump argument, and me showing him that what he considered to be my inferior...
There really isn't much point to this, and it isn't quite as fun as it was before so I won't even continue stirring..... You guys already know I'm just stirring the pot. Last time I was here, my pump wasn't done. Now my pump is done, and its measly 130cc's is cleaning house. CF and 6.2...
Interesting. Was it a crew cab as well? the extra cab and frame could easily make up for another 1,000lbs.
I got nothing... I have only owned 2 DRW Fords... the last one was nearly 8000lbs because of the heavy flatbed.
As I said, if you don't trust me... I'll gladly post up more weight...
I have weighed my truck @ CAT scales before doing military move. I am about to move again... so I'll have to get empty weight, and I'll post it... I have always made sure my tanks were nearly bone dry, and I jump out of it... always has been between 6900-7000... trying to get the lowest empty...
