4” schedule 4o pipe does not fit schedule 40 4” wye

Sounds like the pipe is the issue Is it schedule 40 PVC pipe? Is the 4" schedule 40, the black stuff in the picture? If it's the black stuff, get the appropriate rubber coupling. You may stub a short piece of 4" pvc out of the Y to use a rubber coupling. I have used rubber bushings before...

4” schedule 4o pipe does not fit schedule 40 4” wye

Something isn't right. Are the Ys the same size on.both ends? I've glued a fair amount of pvc and never encountered that issue. Is the Y schedule 40? Can you see lettering on the Y? I have a bunch of Y's and T Y's in the basement they're all schedule 40. What is the diameter of a 4 inch...

4” schedule 4o pipe does not fit schedule 40 4” wye

I've never run into that before. It seems the Y must be an adapter to go from schedule 40 to something else. Or it's just made wrong.

    P0216 DTC

I torque everything. I used to break 3/8 bolts without even noticing they got tight. Then I got so weak that I couldn't tell anything. I've been hosed by other people I had do work for me, that didn't use a torque wrench Both, over and under torqued.

4” schedule 4o pipe does not fit schedule 40 4” wye

So the Y with the 4" pvc pipe in.it is a different ID on each end? If so, it must be some type of adapter Y. Often to go from different types of pipe to PVC, they make rubber couplings with hose clamps. I'm not really sure what you're asking...

If you get near me and have an issue. We also have triple A. If you would need it towed farther. I don't know if AAA will let you do back to back town. If you had to have it towed farther than your tow limit. You could have it towed to a truck stop or something and then use one of our tows...

With the IP on the truck, having that many.miles on.it, I would swap for your spare and run it.

    P0216 DTC

I wouldn't yet. I'm not sure what the status/ history is of the IP you're running or the remanned unit. Who remanned the IP? What's the status of your current IP? If anything, I might take the current IP to a good 6.5 shop to have it checked out. Or maybe both. I know you're short on...

How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

If you have soy diesel in your area. You should be good for additional lube. As far as I've ever heard Arch oil is a good product. If I had some here, I'd run it. But then I used to run some Marvel.

    1994 K3500 extended cab dually

I don't have a camper, but I might buy one. I'd definitely pay whatever I could afford. I'm not sure what shop rate is around here anymore. But that's my 2nd option. If I could find roving repair or a shop to do the work
