Just line em up and get on the road..... i think it would be cool to see a whole bunch of diesels lined up headed somewhere.
What do you guys think?
i believe so. i made a phone call just waiting for a call back to confirm. my new motor wants to get really opened up... its still a little scary to do on the highway lol
I did it on my motor when i built it...
pretty much to remove the mount. support engine. remove 4 bolts on the block 3 on the chassis. drill a 9/16" hole through the center of the mount. make sure you go through the center of the rubber part. put a 1/2" bolt through and put a nut on the...
Who's coming? IIRC this is going to be the tractor sled, so you need a 3.5" hole in your pulling hitch for the hook instead of a 3".
I took a vacation day so hopefully the weather holds out.
yourbest bet is to buy a used lbz turbo off ebay and just use the sensor out of it. your can find them for a couple hundred bucks sometimes unless you have a buddy at a dealership that will warranty it for you.
GM will not cover cleaning out the system because it is functioning as designed (aside from motor failure) the pcv oil mist and exhaust soot mix together forming a nasty sludge that gums up EVERYTHING in its path..... depending on how many miles you have the motor can be covered.
don't forget that blocking it just prevents future 'damage' removing the intake and heads and removing all the valves and soaking in engine degreaser and steam washing is the only real way to undo the damage.
the last time i ran that tune on the dyno i was pushing upwards of 540hp when i popped a IC boot (and i have since seat of pants tuned it)..... and i still had not gotten above 2800 rpm.
my peak power in the tunes prior was in the area of 3600rpm so that tune should be at least 540+
more fuel = bent rods ;)
i'm going for 650 and 11's on stock rods as a daily driver :D
but as always i have a new item in the works that i am going to be testing on my new motor that will hopefully give me some more fuel on the top end ;) always got something up my sleeve for a little bit...
Walked 'em like they were standin still ;)
