I would have entered our local pulls this summer but I was all kinds of distracted with other things.... Maybe next year. They are very popular around here.
Won't be awhile for me, I'm a busy college student that's been putting it off for months now  My truck leaves a nice big puddle wherever it sits but I just keep filling it. I'd love to see a DIY thread on rebuilding the unit, maybe around fall break when I'm home and have time I'll do it...
I'm curious myself. I bought the slave and master separately from Napa because I was in a hurry and needed the truck running. Always wished I had gotten the prebled assembly.
We usually just call them an S vin. You can delete the EGR by using an F (L65) upper intake and the F lower intake gasket. By catalyst I assume you mean the cat converter/soot trap? You can simply cut that thing out anyway you want or buy an aftermarket exhaust system. No codes should set.
I'd love to have an older GM 5.7 diesel but a two door with a five speed. They're cool to me because of how different they are. Sure there are plenty of people who hate the olds diesel but I also know plenty of people who loved them, put a lot of miles on them and got great MPG. I've never owned...
Just had a thought, it seems these rockers come adjustable and non adjustable. Which is preferred for this application and why? And which ones are you getting, Leroy?
