I knew a guy who had an '89 (I think, it was a square body) C30 dually crew cab that he plowed with. The key is weight, good tires, and a good driver. Plan your actions according to the trucks ability. One thing that I'd be worried about is if you could even buy a plow mount for a 4X2 truck, you...
Bump for new info. Chevyinlinesix: did anything become of the headers or custom cam grind you mentioned you were working on? I'd love to get a good flowing set of headers for my truck.
I removed the insulation on the hood of my last truck, it was a '95 C1500 with the 350. I never noticed anything happen to the paint (except for some A-hole who keyed it up while I was at work) so I think it's really only for noise suppression. I'm tempted to remove it all on my current truck...
Not Bosch, Stanadyne made injectors. I seem to remember that the ebay vendor selling those is well respected as well. From what I've read, Stanadyne, Bosch, and Delphi are the injector brands you want.
Very nice! I'm tempted to buy so much stuff for my truck right now, but I'm in college and don't have a job anymore. I seem to remember you said you were a dealer for Silicone Intakes or something similar? I'm trying to line up a K47 and I'll need some 4" 90*'s to connect it to my Holset.
hmmmm, leroydiesel.com never heard of it
Hopefully I'll get some boxes from you for Christmas, being broke sucks when you want diesel parts!
I've had his harness since about late June or July (can't remember exactly). No problems other than the fuse tap. Sometimes when I turn the key to run the glows I'll get nothing because the fuse has worked it's way out. I just go under the hood and push it down hard and it's good to go.
I just went and checked them out, looks like I'll get one from them  I'd prefer to deal with a member for obvious reasons but they don't come up for sale very often or last very long around here. Thanks!
