Would you recommend a gm turbo and spend the money for it? if so why or why not

I think that even a daily driver who doesn't tow would benefit from the reduced back pressure of another turbo, rather than the GM. I think the engine would live a lot longer without all the back pressure. Just my thoughts

Would you recommend a gm turbo and spend the money for it? if so why or why not

That is what most don't understand, the way the truck feels so much different after removing the gm turbo.

Would you recommend a gm turbo and spend the money for it? if so why or why not

Paul we need to talk, ( I can get you out a replacement housing), but also had another incident today, same thing we discussed before only worse. SHEEZ dug up the old emails, thinking I might have to post them to kill the controversy, not something I want to do.

NO mentioning turbos I thought that was clear :) I like the ATT turbo. THIS ISNT a turbo thread just a consensus thread. We will talk about the turbos maybe you can send 6.5l your turbo (NO NAME) when I send you MINE (NO NAME)

Would you recommend a gm turbo and spend the money for it? if so why or why not

Given what we know now about our trucks (THIS IS NOT A I LIKE THIS TURBO THREAD) strictly yes or no with an explanation of why you would or would not recommend a GM turbo. I personally would never go back to or have a gm turbo again on my truck. To restrictive and poor fuel economy given what I...

    ATT Dyno #2

I like manual for the dependability, also I can pull start, or push start the truck even if the battery is low. Just another benefit.

    ATT Dyno #2

Getting cooler intake air is a good thing. Like I said I don't think an intercooler is necessary with the A-Team Turbo. Did you ever get the video up?

    ATT Dyno #2

Nice numbers 6.5,from a relatively stock truck. I would think someone other than yourself would pony up that other turbo, to try it out on a known test bed truck. I think 300 horse at the rear wheels is do able. I don't see you needing an intercooler, not running that high of an IAT. I think...

    DIY Pressure Brake Bleeding recommendations?

Rob The front and rear both have a fail-safe built into the proportioning valve called an over center valve. In short it stops the brake fluid from leaking out and draining the master cylinder if one of the lines should break or the caliper rubber line fails. If you hand bleed and develop...

    New Reflash...First Impressions and Questions

Well, The ATT can use the stock tune with no problems, and getting the best out of it does take a good tune. Some tuners don't like the ATT, that being said, the ATT that Paul has had some damage done to it by the previous owner and I fixed it but not sure if the fix affected any of the...

    New A Team & KOJO...first impressions & questions

I would put a fuel gauge in and see what you are running on the pressure side probably drawing a vacuum, As far as fuel pumps I like the 16 PSI Walbro pump Leroy sells. I noticed a significant difference at highway speed when installed. I had a big name vendors heavy duty pump which it replaced...

Hx-40wii safe boost on stock compression

Thank you, I think that there are a lot of variables that need to be considered. Not just simple enought to say this works because the numbers say it does. Forget one part of the equation or get one number wrong and it all is trash. Super computer is something we all have (it is called a brain)...

Hx-40wii safe boost on stock compression

Is the intake manifold in its entirety and the cylinder considered the fixed volume, maybe we could think of the intake as the accumilator in the pressure system. If we go to higher and high pressure would the pressure wave from the valve closing create a pressure spike which would cause a...

Hx-40wii safe boost on stock compression

Is the volume of the engine fixed from the cylinder volume only, or the intake and cylinder volume. Since the valve is closed and the cylinder volume only becomes available when the valve opens and only for a short period of time. Would this set up a pressure pulse in the intake of which the...

    Replacement turbo

YES there is an updated silicone intake set up the old orange hose has been discontinued. The previous owners get the hose at cost to replace the old orange hose. The silicone holds up much better over time with the oily CDR mess.

    Replacement turbo

NO DAK I like your post and yes I believe the tuner can make or break a turbo or truck by how knowledgeable they are about tuning. 57000 miles, he he, no grass under that truck. How is the fuel mileage truck doing? I like the way you post details and clear up points, never considered Roberts...
