Might take several shorter boards so trying to fit them under the injection pipes wont hinder the progress of trying to shut down a very fast accelerating enjun.
Fire it up and make sure that the IP is not leaking from the weep hole.
Just be sure to have a couple of boards handy, cut to fit over the length of the intake ports on each side, in case of a run away engine.
Then You can slap them boards over the ports to block off the supply of oxygen and...
While I have enough of the pereferals removed from the engine to try and figure where the oil is leaking from, going to run a compression test, as was suggested by @Will L. In earlier threads and posts.
At the least doing a compression test now will give Me a base line for diagnosing any...

When letting out of the throttle, the torque convertor unlocks and puts it into a sort of a coast mode.
It could possibly be the TC clutches is getting bad.
