How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

IIRC, there is a grounding bus bar to the left side way up under the dash. At least I sort of remember the 78 K20 that I had there was one under there. I might be wrong on that too. That could have been on the 93 K1500.

    SAE30R7 fuel hose

I have a nice supply of Gates 4219XL fuel hose in 1/8 inch. On the back side of the hose it is rated at SAE 30R7. Is this a high enough rating to withstand extended periods of diesel fuel return hose ? According to what I read on the specs it lists diesel and bio fuels too. Just checking before...

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

I cant seem to get my truck running long enough to get to adjust the volume of refrigerant in the AC system. What a phocking nightmare. The truck went 380 miles, got home and laid cardboard under the engine portion, not a drip or drop one. Other day thought I could smell fuel. Drove to the...

hi everyone or anyone who can help,my name is Ronnie

Possibly go to a store that sells rebuilt torque convertors and have them send that one in with specific instructions that you have to get that TC back, none other. Still the possibility of loosing that one but I really dont see any other options.

I believe You are correct. Upon expanding the one picture I can see the 3 U for the stamping of leather.

hi everyone or anyone who can help,my name is Ronnie

Used to be mom and pop transmission shops that would do a flush job on TCs. I have had that done multiple times and had no ill affects. Other than that it is up to what @Will L. replied back with. Put it back in.

    ‘99 AC stopped working

Oh My. Yeah, pull that resistor and check the wires and terminal plug. Might too believe that the plug at the blower motor might be burning out. IKN about testing at the resistor. I imagine there should be power at at least one of them wires.

    ‘99 AC stopped working

I believe that You have made the correct assumption. If the AC still blows cold with the blower on high then I too believe it is the resistor.

‘99 K2500 variable speed on wipers not working.

The GM Square bodies had a module under the dash. I am not for certain but I think the delay was moved into the wiper motor unit. I seems that I have read where people pull the wiper motor, remove the cover then solder some joints in the wiring that comes loose. Right where the wiring terminal...

I do believe that @Big T did an upgrade to one of His Suburbans and may have posted a thread on the subject. I do know that He did use a tapered reamer to get the knuckles to accept a different tie rod end or something of that nature.

How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

Wonder what would happen if You used pliers and sort of squished that section of hose back to round again ?
