This only happens when it's cold outside, like 20 degrees and colder, or so it seems. The truck starts fine, but putting it into any gear, it's nearly forceful...
Result of the no-start was a bad connection to a ground apparently according the dealer, although I could never find it. That's why I was getting erroneous readings on dashlights and such. Electrical gremlin I guess. Thanks for all that responded.

Well, I gave up and put the truck in the shop on Wednesday morning. Haven't heard anything from them yet because of the holiday weekend but they said I will have something Monday morning regarding the issue.

Well, you're probably going to want to try the socket. Then on the other end if you have no power. If you DO have power on the board end, you're wiring is jacked. This is only an assumption, but will definitely narrow it down to your wiring. I'm no expert by any means, just a tinkerer. I'm sure...
Update:
Before: I averaged 16.5 mpg
After: I now average 18.7 mpg
My style of driving didn't really change that much, I tried to drive the same. Either way, it still improved it, even the slightest bit though. I'm happy!
