I understand i need to tune to a 2000 range with 8.1 as a "base" what tool do you suggest? or buy a HP "Link" and couple credits? or am I over thinking it?

You may be on something there. I don't understand the deep gouge in the one spot though, should have long scrape.

First problem i found is wrong guide plates used. These are for 7/16 studs. Heads are 3/8

I got an A/c compressor , and it was to be a name brand and it was not. Amazon refunded me. the vendor never responded. So I received a no name for free..

Ok temp probe is 1/8in NPT if I remember correct. and it is designed to come on with a/c and adding a manual over ride is no problem either.

They were laying on the rad support when I drug it home, as soon as i get under the hood and spend a little time I want to see how it lines up. I had a theory, that possibly he tried to use original guide plates first and drive them in.. if there were running it would have had much longer wear...

Any reason you can't use the Hayden controller that @ak diesel driver came up with for our set up?
