You would be amazed what Turtle Wax interior cleaner (the one with a yellow plastic brush applicator on the end) can do. Stay away from straight solvents...they may damage the foam backer of the headliner. If you cannot find Turtle wax, then try a light solution of Dawn and water in a plastic...
Let us know!
I find Scratch X to be the best...I would do the scratch by hand then do a three step Meguiars wax treatment to it...If the key scratches come out, the car will look amazing.
Then DO NOT USE it here...
You need clear coat safe compound...and that stuff is pretty much worthless...
Use Meguiars Scratch X...if that does not take it out, then you need to have the panels re-shot.
I have an XDR on my truck too...I cut the plug mount off the old hitch and welded it on the new one...looks good too...i need to get some pictures of that one.
The original hitch is not even near a class 5, it is only rated for ~7K or so...Putnam is 16K Weight distributed...i am very pleased...
Here is a pic of mine @ work:

God, I love my truck!
What I am towing is a BV206 Troop Carrier. The BV and Trailer weighed in @ 16,700lbs...I dragged it to the highest city in the US (Leadville, Colorado) from the Denver Metro Area during a blizzard. :D
You ought to be careful towing anything with that...it is not a Class 5 hitch. There was a looooong thread at our old home with many pictures of hitch failures, and they werew not pretty. That is why I went with the Putnam XD. Takes about 20 minutes to rip out thew old one and put in the new...
I use Meguires' scratch out. I also have a Cyclo dual head buffer that I use with Meguiars Three Step Wax procedure and my CCLB Dually comes out great!
