The tank I am talking about was behind the rear axle hanging between the frame rails so it gets lots of salt spray on it. I would be more worried about bolting an aluminum tank to my bed than a metal one because of the reaction between the disimilar metals. I dont drive this truck much at all in...
I was looking at the 42 gal unit, I still have way too much junk to take camping with me to get a 90 gal in there.
Not too worried about looks either since it will be covered up with bikes and junk. Just gotta leave enough room for me to fill it up in Knoxville (close to our halfway point to...
I am looking at a tank at the local TSC that is made by Delta. I understand the term "transfer" is used for fueling another vehicle and that "auxiliary" means to increase carrying capacity of the vehicle, what I dont see is what the difference is in the tanks ? The steel tanks seem to be a...
I see both types of tanks but I am unsure of the difference (if any) in the 2 tanks? Best I can figure is the outlets ?
I am looking at a transfer tank that I want to gravity feed into the main tank.
Thanks

You may want to check your lamps and find out how much power they use, not sure if the backup light feed to the trailer plug is up to that much power use. I could be wrong but its worth checking.
We switched from Baldwin to Napa gold a little over a year ago, mostly for convenience and a slight price decrease since the NAPA store is right across the street. We use around 200 filters a year and havent had any problems. We have a mix of newer and older diesels as well as gas engine...
I am by no means an expert on this so take it for what its worth. My understanding was that hurricane Ike damaged the facility in Texas where Exxon/Mobil makes the base stock for their syn. Supposedly there was contamination and the facility had to be taken off line for repairs. This has created...
It sure sounds like you have 2 axles fighting each other. Can you lay a straight edge across the tires/wheels on one side and see if they are even close to being inline ? My guess would be is that they are both bent and fighting each other.
You may just need to clean the mounting surface that the ABS sensor sits on in order to get them working properly. The recall on the 99-03 models has the instructions for all the 1/2 and 3/4 ton.
In short... you will have to pull the caliper and its carrier in order to remove the rotor. On the...
I have exactly the same truck as you suggested, 05 LLY, 285's, 4" turbo back exhaust, Tx CAI and running a Hypertech on 3. Typically I net 15 1/2 running around work and back and a little over 19 on the expressway at around 70mph. I have a 9000# 32ft travel trailer that I pull and I get a tick...
Based on what I saw on mine, the refit is primarily in case the unit malfunctions, as long as it operates normally you are fine. I really dont think the shield will do much but slow the fire down a little.
All they did to mone was install a sheet metal shield around the burner. Any fire other than a really small one isnt going to be stopped by the shield.
We had a truck at work that had an AC line and a 12v wire chafe through and when it took off it was impressive.
Do that with the Fat free dressing and it wont flare up over the fire, hardly any oil in the FF makes them easier to grill and still has the good flavor.

I cook boneless, skinless chicken breast on the charcoal grill. season one side of the chicken with a dusting of Lawrys season salt, coarse black pepper and a light shake of garlic powder. place the chicken seasoned side up on the grill and spray it with a light coat of Pam cooking spray. Turn...
