    Head gasket

That's what happened to my 98 with just over 90k miles...it was passenger side rear cylinder...waste of a good running engine. There were no other issues and ran great but, the block was cracked. I initially thought I had a blown head gasket because it sat for 2 weeks and when I tried to start...

Experience with these heads for 6.5?

Looks like the heads were surfaced with the pre-cups still installed. I'm not sure if that's what you have to do.

That's great, wish I had one. Care to say what it would take to get one?

    Polyurethane casting resins

Perhaps research the engine type. For example, I have a late 70's vintage TCM forklift (Japanese) and it uses a Datsun 4 cylinder engine. Currently, I trying to find an air cleaner for it and it appears that a Datsun truck engine is the same. So, maybe your forklift shares an engine with...

first of all! Hello from cold Norway!

I have never seen that blue thing. Might be unique to Hummer. I would like to know more about it.

New PMD on 2003 Hummer H1 and now Check Engine Light? Need advice please

Did the resistor come over from the last PMD? Disconnect the PMD from the harness and look into the female end. There should be a tiny circuit board looking piece bottomed in the female side of the harness. Note: This also could be at done at the at the other end of the harness since you now...

first of all! Hello from cold Norway!

Might try a clear fuel line at the injection pump and look for air bubbles in the fuel.

    Crankshaft pulleys

I replaced mine with the factory one. I mainly wanted to keep the rotating assembly the same weight.

Motor mounts - which to use

I wound up using the Anchor mounts after fighting with the urethane mounts. I still have the urethane mounts if anyone is interested. The urethane mounts seemed significantly larger than factory or Anchor mounts. Truck is fairly smooth with new rubber mounts.

Motor mounts - which to use

I got the urethane mounts but, they won't fit it the factory clam shell. I'm thinking I was sent the wrong mounts. I believe there's a difference between 2 and 4 wheel drive

    Junk parts.

Sorry about your incident Stoney. I too have an issue with AAA. Over the summer it was very hot and needed a tow. Two hours later AAA finally showed up and the driver was all pissed off that we had kept calling his dispatch to get an ETA because they kept stringing us along. Once loaded, the...

Sounds like maybe air in the fuel system.

    Two piece crank club

My crank didn't break but, my block was cracked at the #7 cylinder. I bought the Optimizer and never looked back. My original mileage was only 93k so I figured my truck (1/2 ton) was worth the cost of a new motor. I looked at like this; many hot rodders spend 10's of thousands of dollars on...

6.5 timing issues, poor fuel economy please advise

One other Thing to consider is; did you swap the same configuration of engine? There are different models through the series of trucks, vans, etc. I'm mostly referring to the "pre-cup" sizes. Your 1/2 ton would have smaller pre-cups (light duty) than say heavy duty version with larger pre-cups...
