Might try a clear fuel line at the injection pump and look for air bubbles in the fuel.

I replaced mine with the factory one. I mainly wanted to keep the rotating assembly the same weight.

I wound up using the Anchor mounts after fighting with the urethane mounts. I still have the urethane mounts if anyone is interested. The urethane mounts seemed significantly larger than factory or Anchor mounts. Truck is fairly smooth with new rubber mounts.

I got the urethane mounts but, they won't fit it the factory clam shell. I'm thinking I was sent the wrong mounts. I believe there's a difference between 2 and 4 wheel drive

One other Thing to consider is; did you swap the same configuration of engine? There are different models through the series of trucks, vans,etc. I'm mostly referring to the "pre-cup" sizes. Your 1/2 ton would have smaller pre-cups (light duty) than say heavy duty version with larger pre-cups...
