Okay that makes sense now. Was referring to the two gray fusible link wires as the negative side. I'm not getting power to my glowplug fuse or my crank fuse. All my other fuses have power. Tried putting in new fuses and still nothing. Not sure how old the glowplug relay is. Wish I knew...
So when I put a test light on the glowplug controller, there is power to the positive side but none to the ground. No power to the fusible links either. Is that something within the fusible links or something within the glowplug controller itself that is bad? Not getting power to glowplugs...
Thanks for the info! My GP relay has 3 pins and the light only comes on for a out 6 seconds and sometimes 8. But it only comes on once. I'm ordering a spare pmd on payday (Friday). I have been looking at getting a scan tool and adapter thatd be able to read ECM data for this truck and for my...
Okay. Well I'm going to replace my glowplugs this weekend d going to replace the relay and go from there. Also, is it supposed to idld high at every cold start? I had another 94 that did. Thought maybe the IAT sensor was bad even though I replaced it. Was throwing a code 48 so I replaced...
That makes sense. The connector on my glowplug relay only as 3 prongs as well as the relay. My 95 has 4 prongs and my friends 93 has 4. The connector on mine seems a little bit loose too. One of the fusible links coming out of it has wire showing right before the fuse part. No telling how...

Mine while smoke at startup even when the truck is warmed and has been driven recently. Even when it's hot outside. It does it pretty much everytime now. Before it used to only do it after it would sit overnight or for several hours. And before that it didnt even do it at all.
I put on the clear piece of tubing. No bubbles. Noticed my glowplug relay connector was loose so I plugged it back in. Still getting intermittent code 36 and 29 is back. Still getting white smoke on startup but it's not constant white smoke all the time. Only for a few seconds or if I rev...
