    A-team turbo oil leak

The key if you are building TurboMaster is find the strongest spring there is. Most spring cannot hold till around 10 psi. The logic in turbo is reverse than the way we think.

    Need help

The fuel filter canister (FFM) is also prone to leaking with age. There are 2 o-rings but it can also leak from the area where the wire comes out. The grommet on that wire hole is not replaceable. I had replaced both o-rings and still leaking from that wire hole. In my 95, I had to buy a...

Not fuel or pmd but no start now

Rocky, I agree with you. A lot of people show up here don't have a clue or tools. It is more difficult to teach people to do that. LOL!!! Although, there is Youtube but you know, a lot of people don't even know how to use that. Plus, there is amazon and a whole lot of sites where people...

Not fuel or pmd but no start now

It is not hard to test but people are very oblivious or they don't want to do it. At least when we tell them to at least taking off and reattaching forces them to look at it, plus the fact that we don't have access to their truck. This truck is one of those that has ground issue if the ground is...

Best overall diesel engine oil winter vs summer

You are too late by half a month. Last Feb and March, Napa have a sale on Mobil Delvac ESP 5w-40 which is their commercial line of diesel oil. I bought 1 in Feb and 1 in Mar for 1 oil change. I am not sure if they still have it and how much but it is worth checking out Napa store. You can also...

Not fuel or pmd but no start now

Sounds like the PMD is not on a heatsink if it is burning hot. I am not sure ????? I thought OP said he found the problem with LP. Then, he started fiddling with PMD that gets hot which obviously is bad now.

Not fuel or pmd but no start now

Just FYI, in the process of troubleshooting, you need to test everything no matter how new or old the parts are. Just to eliminate possibilities of simple things. Some member posted that they replaced the IP and a lot of difficult parts only to find out that the battery is bad (just one of...

Not fuel or pmd but no start now

Load test (NOT voltage test) the batteries one at a time? There is always a chance that the new PMD is bad.

    1999 Tahoe with goodwrench 6.5td

I would leave it alone. Sounds normal to me for 20+ years truck. It is not going to be perfect. The more it is driven, it will smooth out.

    Running issues

There are a set of question on Lift Pump that you have not answered. You need to somehow energize the LP and see if it is pumping fuel. Also, due to water in fuel possibility, I suggest while the LP is pumping fuel (assuming it works), you need to open the drain valve and drain the fuel...
