I got it back to running fine and I wiggled and wiggled and wiggled all the wires in all the wire looms and can't get it to do anything. I have no idea at this point
I check and cleaned the grounds when this first started so I think they are good. I'm thinking it's something with the main engine harness that is under the intake. which would explain why I keep getting these codes for the fuel solenoid and the oil level.
I unhooked the batteries and got the codes to go off after clearing them again and everything was working fine and then I was driving it and hit a bump and it did it again. so I'm guessing I have a wiring issue somewhere going to have to dig into that further
well I changed the CPS with one that was working when taken from the truck and now Im getting these codes that won't clear and the actual injection pump timing is showing 0. any ideas?
I have one just did not have good luck getting the last one off that I tried. haven't gotten back to this problem but it hasn't given me any fits either so.... it's easy to forget
haha I was wondering my self but it's nice to know how to diagnose things before going full parts cannon
luckily for me I have a spare laying around so putting it in currently
I first unplugged the CPS and it took a while to crank but did start and ran fine. I got the first set of codes and the timing was at zero and 8.4
then I unplugged the optic sensor after plugging the CPS back in and it started but had a couple hiccups and then ran smoothly and I got these codes...
well it happend again the other day while I was dumping a load of trees and was able to get the computer hooked up while it was running badly.
here's the codes I got
second is what the timing looked like I'm guessing my issue has something to do with it showing 0 for the actual injection pump...
when I started my truck this morning it started normally and then within half a second. seemed like the timing changed and it was running almost like it had a knock. didn't have time to mess with it right away so when I got home from work I hooked up the computer and these are the codes that I...
don't know why it is but this body line not being on the back of the cab confuses me since it is on the bed as well. talked to the body guy and he thinks he can use a piece of my old cab to add it and make it look right. has any one heard of this being done before. seems to me it would look...
