The tailgate window will not go all the way down, and the tailgate will not open.
I know theres linkage to prevent it from opening, (I guess to protect the glass),
I cannot get inside the gate to see whats wrong.

HELP!!

(The glass [at center] stays about 1'' above the rubber seal, pressing/forcing down or giggling the glass has no effect-nothing has any effect) (I am assuming something got down inside the guide tracks or in the regulator system)

(edit: this is the manual, hand cranked open/close type)

Well, I tried playing with it this morn and actually got it open.
After removing several parts/components, I figured out wotz wrong.
I didnt remove glass or regulator mechanism, and therein lies the problem.
Something is causing the window to not go all-the-ways down. I think in the guide tracks for it.
An easy TEMP fix was to remove the "blockout" lever, which prevents opening of the tail-gate unless the window is all the way down.
The Helm book has really poor illustrations for manual opening windows,
I could see what they were trying to say/show.
The manual is bigger than old phone books, yet one page only for Blazers.
