    Clutch not working on dually

Replaced the clutch. The release bearing was nothing but scraps of metal and plastic. The disc was OK, but the center splines were almost gone. That was due to the df flywheel. replaced the flywheel with solid model and everything is working super. Don't know how it worked at all when it was so...

    Clutch not working on dually

One fellow told me that the round cap at the slave was to grease the arm and or the throw out bearing?? If so I have never removed the cover and greased the area. Some times I only use the truck to move my 32' travel trailer 72 miles one way for the summer and bring it home. The truck doesn't...

    Clutch not working on dually

There has been times when I push in the clutch peddle it would not disengage the clutch. A few pumps of the peddle would get back to normal (as I know it). I went to the bank and backed into the parking spot and to stop I had to turn off the engine. After about 20 minutes it did work and off to...

    ATT TURBO AND KOJO REVIEW

I am in no hurry. Its too cold in the shop to work on the truck. I will tackle in the spring when warmer. I will have the room then when other vehicles can be parked outside. The weasel is in the way. If that would work for you seeing the job for some advise, that would be great.

Auto trans that was bolted to a 6.2 700r4?

The rear end ratio I believe is 3:73, ford explorer disc rear. I may have to change the gearing if it doesn't work out. I don't mind the switch to do LU, but how is the shift points and torque converter for a gasser. This fellow wants $150 for the trans and it has the TC and TV cable. I am not...

Auto trans that was bolted to a 6.2 700r4?

I am looking at buying a auto trans, maybe a 700r4, that was bolted to a 6.2. This was in a 1971 suburban 2wd. The owner sold the diesel and wants the trans gone. He says that it had a switch on the dash to have it go into OD. He thinks it was from the 80's. He states its a 700r4. If so, does...

    Three pod A pillar

I bought a 3 pod A pillar mount and it seems to snap over the factory plastic cover on the pillar. My concern is it looks like there is no room for gauge wires or tube for boost gauge. Does one cut out the factory plastic? Drill large enough holes to run items inside pillar? Use screws to...
