    John also mentioned putting some Stanadyne fuel additive in the pump wouldn't hurt. That makes good sense too. Forgot to ask!. I read that you should pop the black plastic diamond shaped covers off the PMD for better heat transfer to the heat sink? Hell I didn't know they had covers? Ya I know...

    Got a Question? I'm swapping out the IP this weekend. Should I use a lubricant of some kind to try to prime/lube the new pump before cranking it dry for first start? Thanks in advance!

    Yup I did that too looking for a intermittent short that left me broke down a time or two (that turned out to be air bubbles) messing with the cam reference and not tripping a code right away... That's also when all the grounds were cleaned.. This truck has been driving me crazy! Can't thank...

    Yup. Unresponsive would be the right word. Coughs, spits and damn near stalls untill it clears. Check engine light flashes but no codes stored.

    Well it is not the coolant sensors, both of the ones I have here check out to the GM chart. That IP can't have 3000 miles on it? Well there's another pocket sewed shut! I was looking at the function of the DB4 (NAVEDTRA-14050A-Construction-Mechanic-Advanced-Part-3.pdf) to see how that advance...
