From what I hear the Edge Evolution will give you about 2-3 mpg better and the Diablo will do about the same. The guy in the next bay has the Edge on his 6.4 and gets about 21mpg in tow/economy mode.

Sounds to me like the IAC motor stuck partially closed, let it idleand uplug it and see if the rpm drops.If not replace the IAC ( idle air control ) ;)

Curious to what he finds, so fill us in when you get a chance.

Your diff have a speed sensor in it? I know your old one did but I don't think your new one had the hole for it.

Actually the 6.5 has a ton of low end torque, mine just suffers while pulling over 1700 RPM. Unloaded it runs quite well .... sometimes too well, especially after the injectors and the 4" exhaust. Funny thing is mine has a very distictive rattle.... different then any other 6.5 I've heard and...

Ok I'll need more info on that... does it more hot or cold? any other lights on in the dash? Have it scanned? Fords have a ton of performance codes that DON'T turn on the check engine light.

Water in fuel... drain the fuel filter module on the frame under the drivers door.

I noticed a difference over 2200 rpm with the 40hp injectors, with a much smoother accel with less lag. Looking into the reflash next, to help pull the 5th wheel.

When it goes into regen try to find a spot to let her idle, it'll ramp up the idle and as long as you don't hit the brake pedal, she'll complete her regen in about 15 mins or so.... maybe longer if it hasn't been able to complete at least one full regen. :thumbsup:
