    If you didn't get any coolant out of the motor or the radiator you might want to check your oil and see if it went in there your oil will be a milky color

    5.7 vortec vs 6.0 for 99 surburban 2500 4by 4 for Colotsdo driving elevations 6000 to 10,000 here in Colorado. My do some towing 3000 to 9000 lbs.

    You will get better gas mileage out of the 5.7 but they pretty much have the same torque the 6.0 has a little bit more horse power but it will eat you out of gas really quick when your towing or pulling anything I do a lot of towing and pulling with my dad's 5.7 and it does great

    A 5/8 short socket should do to turn the crank just pull your spark plugs out so it will turn easy if you leave them in it's going to be rough on the motor cause you have to bring number 1 piston to top dead center

    I agree switch to the 5.3 or 5.7 they have more horse power and torque than 4.3 L does that's what I'm going to do to my 96 Chevy Blazer LS is switch out for the 5.3 vortex engine
