    c-6 swap possibilities?

I'm looking for a place to pull my engine at. It needs to be freshened up.

    possible diesel swap

Yes, I have a c-6 for certain. I have old knees and want to stick with my automatic. I did remember something about many automatics not being able to handle the torque of a diesel. I really needed something cheap and easy. I guess a big diesel like what comes in Fords would be the easiest. I...

    c-6 swap possibilities?

I actually am getting ready to build a fresh engine with a camshaft that will work with the computer. This will be good enough. The diesel was more like a fantasy when you look at the price tag.

    c-6 swap possibilities?

That all is something I have been debating and thinking on the last few days. For the cost and hassle of the swap. I could buy a lot of gasoline. c-6 swap possibilities?

I tried listing my truck info in the signature line. Not sure if it worked. I have looked and no adapter plate for mounting anything to a c-6 so far. Maybe a larger ford diesel would be the easier swap.

    possible diesel swap

Thanks, I was hoping for an easier swap that would mate to my c-6. Does The 7.3 bolt up? or does it require a standard trans conversion?

    possible diesel swap

No, a small four-cylinder diesel of some kind. I figure a turbo four has enough torque and the MPG i want. for towing. I am not particular about what engine. It would be good to have it mechanical and simple. I don't have any emissions to worry about.

    c-6 swap possibilities?

I am curious if any smaller diesel(4 cylinders) has been adapted to work with a c-6 transmission? I really don't want to swap in any stick shifts, my knees are not what they used to be. My 460 while very powerful is just not going to cut it into the future. My truck is a 4wd also. No, I don't...
