I ordered a gauge but when it came it was the wrong one. Just haven’t ordered a new one yet.

My truck is weird. The starting issue went away in its own. It’s starting fine I have new AC Delco GPs to go in but haven’t got to it yet. No idea what the problem was. I’ve had a few of these gremlins. I still think they are fuel related.

Put copper anti-seize on when I put in the Bosch GPs.

Just ordered 8 AC Delco 60Gs. I'll change them tomorrow.

I haven't gotten to the block heater or gauge yet, but if it makes any difference, when the truck is warm, it starts perfectly. Which leads me to conclude that it is only cold starts where I have a problem, thus it is likely an issue in the GP circuit somehow.

Smoke does not smell like coolant. I'll try plugging in the block heater when I get a chance. I don't have power where I usually park it. I've got a fuel pressure gauge on order, so I'll check it when it arrives.

I’m sure that might work. However right now our postal service is on strike and I have no idea when it will be back.

The GPs are only a couple months old. They are Bosch not AC Delco. So with the GP override, do I just guess how long the plugs should heat? Is there a wiring diagram somewhere for that relay mod? The only one I’ve seen does not include any connection to the GP relay. Would it work with the GP...

Good question. The injectors were on the used engine that I put in about two years ago. It had around 250k km on it I have no idea if they were original. Once it starts though, I get no smoke and she runs fine.
