    New GEP engine deal

My first thought exactly when I saw the article. Not that I have the money to rathole one right now, but one can dream.

What’s the scoop with Heath Diesel?

Doc, what do you think of the tuning equip? Maybe I should look down that route given the time I expect to own this pickup. EWC, I have just installed the HT4 and a Hurricane7. Haven’t even fired it up yet. I basically now have the full buffet from Heath. If it’s going to work, it should work...

What’s the scoop with Heath Diesel?

Stuck blend doors or broken blend doors?...Ived owned dodge’s too! Everything has pluses and minuses and everybody wants something different. For my taste the GMT400 always delivers.

What’s the scoop with Heath Diesel?

I believe they had sold Detroit to Penske by 92 when the HD rolled out. But either way, it does seem to me that the chassis was prime for something truely ‘commercial’ and could have been kicked down the hill at the last minute for any number of reasons. Including bean counters!

What’s the scoop with Heath Diesel?

Not to derail my own thread but a heavy truck salesman I know, who’s been in that biz for decades, swears that the C3500HD was supposed to have a small Cat as an option but they backed out at the last minute. True or not, idk. I drive one, a gasser, for work almost every day. Plenty to like...

    6.5L .030 Pistons/Rods 18:1 Marine!

These are still on the shelf next to all my other 6.5 treasures, so I thought I’d give them a bump and see if they can finally get adopted ;) $200 plus the ride.

What’s the scoop with Heath Diesel?

Sad to hear but I guess a guy is allowed to retire and sell out if he wants to. Bill didn’t know everything but he had done an awful lot of R&D with this motor and seemed to get good reliable performance out of them. Guess I may be going elsewhere for the tune this time around. I’d have been...

What’s the scoop with Heath Diesel?

So I finally got around to working on my poor 6.5 that had an unfortunate encounter with a pregnant whtietail few years ago. As part of the rebuild, I’m planning to send my ecm back to Heath for a re-tune. When I called, the recording said something about being a ‘Dieselsite’ company. Checked...

    6.5L .030 Pistons/Rods 18:1 Marine!

Actually, no. I had some interest but never saw any money so I still have them. If you’re interested, let me know. Fyi, it'll probably be a few weeks before I can get them out of storage and ship them.

    Banks Sidewinder T04B

I have one of these as well. Seems like it might be a good fit, I just need to build a DP adapter. If anyone tries it first, let me know if it's worth it or not!

    Fuel gauge interface module

Wonder what ohm sender my 97 has? Its an early production unit so its like a 96 instead of full OBDII like a 98 and my gauge doesnt bounce. Maybe I have the buffer and dont know it! I have the factory service manuals but if you couldnt find it on alldata, its probably not in the manual either...

    Fuel gauge interface module

Those TSB units were specified for full size 4 door SUVs. Why not 2 door? Why not pickups? Did they not have the same problem? A buddy has an early 97 4dr Tahoe and his gauge is all over the place. I have an early 97 pickup and its steady as a rock! My fuel sender is the threaded type but his is...
