    Blue paper towel

When I first bought it Will that was my plan to go with a turbo but after awhile I lost interest in doing the turbo and decided just to change the intake and get rid of the EGR valve and do the Feed the Beast mod and maybe a cold air filter system , I don't know maybe I'm just wasting my money...

    Blue paper towel

Maybe it never had one because it was a Virginia state truck. I'll have to check out the emissions sticker. Mark

    Blue paper towel

I'm not sure I know what your talking about BigT. The truck came from Virginia and was either owned by the state or one of its counties and appeared to be all stock it has around 150K miles on it. I was surprised to find that it has the smaller 4L60E transmission I would have thought being...

    Blue paper towel

Thanks for your input . Yeah it was making lots blue confetti when I started it, I would think the paper towel tried to exit just through one cylinder. About how much room is there when the pistons on TDC between the piston and the head in the combustion chamber? That sounds like a good idea to...

    6.5 vacuum pump delete

I haven't bought a filter yet and like you say I've heard the only reason K&N filters breath is because they let so much crap through I was just using K&N as an example. I'm gonna see if I can stick some kind of a filter in the air baffle over there on the fender well being this is a NA motor I...

    6.5 vacuum pump delete

Thanks for the reply JM. I was going to do the feed the Beast mod and I got the idea since had the manifold off to find a manifold with no EGR and run a K&N type aircleaner on it and get rid of the old aircleaner and clean up the engine compartment just a tad. Mark

    Changing intake

Been there done that Mr Marty. I'm an equal opportunity forgetter I forget where I set my wrench down and I play the same game with the parts and I get pretty disgusted with myself sometimes. I wear out my shoes prematurely with all the extra miles I put on them. Mark

    Changing intake

Thanks Ak I couldn't find anything on the gaskets as to sealer but I thought there were a few intake bolts that required sealer because they went into a water jacket. Mark

Dodge Dakota 05 transfer case motor Cardone # 48306

I need some information on pertaining to this motor on your rebuilt program. The core I have to send in the electric hookup on the motor needs replaced would this make the core unusable? I would also like to know who rebuilds these motors if it done in the states? Thanks. Mark
