    What is the likely hood?

Two posts above, the amount of flow should be 1/2 a pint, not 1/5 pint. I couldn't figure out how to edit the post.

    What is the likely hood?

Mine is mounted right where Leroy recommends. One of the reasons I chose his over Bill Heath was mounting location. Heath wants it on the outside of the skid plate. He's been doing it a long time, but I couldn't get past that. I figured the bumper gave at least some protection. It does get wet...

    What is the likely hood?

Ok, I believe I have a bad lift pump. I have voltage to the lift pump. I pulled the line from the out put side, pulled the fuel solenoid fuse, and cranked the truck for 15 seconds. From what I read I should have about 1/5 pint of flow per 15 seconds of cranking. I got some fuel but not much at...

    What is the likely hood?

Definitely a miscommunication. I will get with you about the exchange if it becomes necessary. After figuring out the lift pump issue (I may need a walbro), I am going to put the PMD on the trucks harness to rule that out. Thanks for your help Leroy. Keith

    What is the likely hood?

Is this the drain you are referring to? If I should have full stream of fuel flowing from the above drain, I have a problem. If I open it to check for fuel flow the truck runs for a few seconds and then stalls. Off to test the lift pump.

    What is the likely hood?

I have know issues with the kit. When it was installed it fixed the problem and all was good. I was probably just as surprised as Leroy when 6-7 months later I started experiencing the same problem. I was not thrilled with the initial response to my problem, but couldn't be without my truck so I...

    What is the likely hood?

My post was a description of what I purchased not an indication of where I purchased it from, but thanks, your input was helpful.

    What is the likely hood?

Leroy, PM sent. Question Leroy: My problem with putting the heat sink and PMD on the truck's harness is that puts the unit in the engine compartment, where everyone agrees it should not be. I will probably have to drive the truck for a few weeks to test it, are you ok with that? Keith

    What is the likely hood?

Leroy, Yes, I bought it from you. I checked the grounds yesterday (with special attention to the one you suggested last time) and everything looks ok. I am going to check the cable and lift pump today. Friday, when it shut down, I did double check that the cable was plugged and secure and it...

    What is the likely hood?

Not SSD. Thanks for all the help so far. My plan is to work on this weekend and contact the vendor, if I can't get anywhere or if the vendor makes right I will provide info. Thanks again.

    What is the likely hood?

I haven't done any troubleshooting yet. I've got a rare perfect storm this weekend. I'm not working and the temps will be in the low 70's. Which drain? Filter housing? Plan is to install a fuel pressure guage after the lift pump and start moving towards the fuel pump. The problem is the truck...

    What is the likely hood?

A little more than a year ago my truck started shutting off. It was like someone just turned off the ignition switch. It was completely random and always started right back up. Then it got more frequent, then it got harder to start, and then it didn't start. I suspected the PMD, as it was the...

More power to be installed on Saturday

Everything is going good. I've been towing my boat all of the sudden so I can't say if my fuel mileage has increased or not. On flat ground, about 80 degrees, running 60 mph, and towing my boat (about 5000 pounds) I'm getting 11.9 mpg. I made a lot of changes all at one time. I made the changes...

More power to be installed on Saturday

Computer installed. Definitely can tell a difference. Initial impressions are really good. I tried to do the TDC relearn, but I didn't have a scanner at the time so I don't know if it took or not. I'm hoping to get better fuel mileage, but I'm sure that isn't going to happen on this tank. I will...

More power to be installed on Saturday

No news, still haven't installed the new computer. We were right in the path of Irene so I've been getting ready for that. For those of you that have been in hurricane zones before you could appreciate this storm. For what that thing lacked in intensity it made up for in longevity. Sideways rain...
