I have only had one time that came close to over heating, it set off the alarm but didn't actually overheat. I was in AZ, OAT was 110* and I was towing my 5ver up a sever grade and had cruise set at 60. I don't remember the grade % but at the bottom of the grade there is a permanent sign that...- otis
