Tom, our 02 had very similar symptoms to yours. The block was cracked at the pass. side rearmost cylinder. Not saying thats whats wrong with yours but if you have it checked and they cant find the leak, you might want them to check the block. They had to tear it down to find it. 11k later its...

thanks. That probably would be whats wrong. I just had another tranny put in the truck and it wouldnt start after the guy put it in. I can jump the wires to the starter and it starts so I was thinking the switch or the starter relay. Thanks guys Ill check it tommorow again.

Ok. Do you happen to know where the switch is at? I was going to grab a relay at the aprts store in the morning and try it, its only 10 bucks so its worth a try.

my 02 will not start. It has power to everything but will not click or even try to turn the starter over. I wasnt sure if it had a starter relay or where it was to check it. I havent checked to see if it has power to the starter, I had to leave for work.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you try to remove the chevy emblem on the new trucks on the tailgate, man your in for a job. That damn thing is really stuck on there. Broke every test line I had in my fishing box. I had to use some mig welder wire to cut through it. Man what a pain in the ass. the other decals come off...
